Pound for pound, ounce for ounce Peacock bass are some of the most ferocious fresh water sport fish found anywhere! Breath-taking top water-acrobatic strikes along with line stripping-rod busting battles are what have made these beautiful fish famous.

Del Re Adventures proudly represents what we believe to be the very best peacock bass fishing outfitter in Brazil. Anglers come from all over the world to fish with our select outfitter on the beautiful Rio Negro River along with the many tributaries that flow into it. Guests are flown in on float planes to remote regions of the river where you will enjoy the comforts of air conditioned - barge style cabin fishing camps, complete with cooking staff, daily maid service, qualified Brazilian fishing guides and full service staff to make your adventure completely enjoyable. These camps are easily moved to other parts of the river and tributaries to ensure our guests the best fishing possible at all times. Guests will fish from specially equipped 20ft aluminum bass style boats that are custom designed for use in shallow water. Anglers commonly catch and release 20-30 peacock bass daily, ranging from 2 to 8 pound colorful “butterfly” peacocks to the jumbo sized “barred” & “paca” peacock’s - anglers land many fish in the 10 to 20 pound range.

Traditional anglers as well as our Fly fishing guests have a blast battling these bruisers!!

In February 2010 one lucky angler landed a 28 pound monster peacock that broke the IGFA all tackle world record from these very same waters!!
